December, how great you are!

December is a time for putting up decorations, parties, good food, family, friends and in the Blades household...basketball.  Caleb has not shown much interest up until this point in basketball at all.  In fact, many times he has acted like he would rather do anything else. But, all of the sudden, he now wants to try his hand with the ball.  Tonight we spent an hour after dinner watching all four kids take turns shooting baskets in the living room. I sat by the fire.  It was beautiful.
Thanks to grandma, we added another snowman and a snow dog into our xmas decorations this year.  Jack the dog, meet Jack the snow dog.
For some reason, I forgot to add these pictures in my last post which included Gracie's 11th birthday.  We were able to talk Grammy into coming too.  She said it had been a very long time since she had been there.  For example, she had never been on Star Tours!

Sarah and Everlee were able to surprise Gracie and join us before they had to go back to Tennessee.
We got to small world just in time to see their evening show on the front of the ride and for it to start snowing on us.  Gracie picked out a new Disneyland sweatshirt as her birthday present. I love that she still wants to wear her ears!

You don't see this very often!
At the end of the day, we stopped at the ticket booth to pick up Grammy's own Disneyland pass!  We can't wait to take her again soon!
